I should be a.......

...fraid?

No. I just, for a whole variety of reasons, took an online "What job is right for me?" test.

Guess what came out top?

It wasn't teacher, surprisingly (I may or may not be being sarcastic there).

Actually the two most suited jobs to me (based on my answer to fifteen questions, and not taking into account qualifications or what I've been wasting time doing for the last 15 years) are
1. Environmental scientist (!!!!)
2. Writer.

Interesting............

  2. I've just done another one: same result! Conservation or environmental scientist! Second was Medical Lab Technician, third was medical scientist.
Why didn't somebody tell me this 15 years ago?

    Crikey...

    1. This was one (be warned.. it's rather long): http://www.youthink.com/quiz.cfm?action=go_detail&sub_action=take&obj_id=618

      Here's another: http://www.ivillage.co.uk/what-career-will-suit-your-personality/121527

But basically I put something like, "What job should I really be doing?" into google and played about with the results.

  6. oh thank you ;-)) a little escape from my workaholic day ...

the first quiz sent me to Agriculture and Natural Resources - Jobs like Farming, Landscaping, Conservation ... cool LOL

the second quiz gave more specific professions, including some jobs i've already worked, my current job (!!!) and some other a bit illogical, but interesting, i think ;-)) Here's the list: Novelist (possible), Photographer (thinking about), Vet (well ...), Medical Technician, Paralegal (forget), Geologist, Marine Biologist (wow), Graphic Designer (current), Online Content Developer (done), Webmaster (done), Computer Security (done), Producer, Computer Programmer (done and still in use), Technical Writer (done), Systems Analyst (done), Meteorologist (who? me???), Artist (my dad's dream)

    1. That's the most bizarre collection of potential professions... There doesn't seem to be a connection running through them at all! At least you didn't get environmental scientist (unless that's your current job..)
So you'll be becoming a farmer, then? :)
